Scientology's Bridge to Total Freedom is the name for all the levels and grades a Scientologist must progress through to obtain the eventual state of Theta Clear, which is the main objective of the Scientology teachings. Each step is named OT(Operating thetan), which is then followed by the number of the level. Payment is required to advance through the levels. Progress up the bridge can be endangered by associating with Suppressive Persons or Potential Trouble Sources.
